Marketing roles screen on channel names, platforms and metrics. These are the keywords in real marketing postings, grouped by category, with lines you can adapt to your own results.
Use the exact channel names from the posting. "Digital marketing" is a broad label; "SEO" and "PPC" are the strings the ATS actually matches.
Platform names are exact-match gold. If the posting says GA4, write "GA4", not "Google Analytics 4" alone — mirror the posting.
Marketing is the one resume where numbers are the content. Every bullet should end in a metric: traffic, leads, conversions, revenue.
Channel keyword + platform + metric is the winning sentence structure. ATS matches the terms; the human responds to the growth numbers.
Mirror the job description first: the channels and platforms the posting names are the ones the ATS will check. Then add the metrics that show you can measure impact.
List tools you used substantially and can discuss in an interview. A long tool list with thin experience reads as keyword stuffing to both the ATS and the recruiter.
Show the closest owned or earned results: organic traffic growth, email campaigns, social engagement, A/B tests you ran. The metrics still demonstrate marketing skill.
